Educated at Fordham University, Shannah Hall Franckum embarked on her career in 1975 as a research assistant with the New York City accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. Reporting to the director of practice development, she managed a range of marketing and public relations functions. Shannah Hall Franckum went on to serve for a year as administrative assistant and personal secretary to the partner-in-charge of the company’s New York office.

Later relocating to the Boston area, she proceeded to direct leasing for 10 years as vice president with Cambridge Development and Investment Associates (CDIA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her accomplishments with CDIA include spearheading the conversion of a 1928 Sears Roebuck building into a 220,000-square-foot mixed-use retail/office complex.

After serving six years as director of retail leasing for the Commercial Division of Hammond Real Estate, Shannah Hall Franckum assumed her current position as principal of the Cambridge Real Estate Company. She has been with Cambridge Real Estate since 2002.
